The Webby Awards

I was Head Writer on the 2020 Webby Awards , the most prestigious honors for excellence on the internet. I wrote speeches for Michelle Obama, Tom Hanks, Patton Oswalt, Demi Lovato, and a bunch of other fun people.

Lovie Awards

I was also Head Writer on the 2020 Lovie Awards, the European version of the Webbys.

Branding & Awareness Campaigns

As a Senior Copywriter/Associate Creative Director, I’ve created and executed large branding and public awareness campaigns for major government clients, winning five Hermes Creative Awards and one MM+M Award.I was involved in everything from the names, taglines, logos, and key messaging, all the way to videos, social media posts, web content, and press releases.

Nonprofit Communications

I've done communications consulting and content creation for various nonprofits, including Locally Haiti and CoachArt. I've written executive outreach materials, op-eds, podcasts, blogs, and other content.

Corporate Speechwriting

I’ve written speeches for the CEO of North America’s largest steel manufacturer, NUCOR Steel, and the CEO of Deloitte.

Music

I’ve played drums on recordings by the Old 97s, Murry Hammond, Rhett Miller, and Kristy Kruger, released by ATO Records and Fluff & Gravy.Kristy’s version of Folsom Prison Blues won an Independent Music Award.I’ve also played live and recorded with two other guys who had number one hits in the ‘90s: Brian Vander Ark of the Verve Pipe and Jason Pollock of Seven Mary Three.
